At Mane Event Wigs, each wig is carefully hand-styled, with most pieces made to order. I want you to be happy with your purchase, so please read the following information before ordering.
Cancellations & Returns
Your statutory consumer rights are not affected by this policy.
For products that are not made to your specifications or personalised, any applicable statutory cancellation and return rights will be honoured.
Custom and personalised wigs are made specifically for you and cannot normally be returned or exchanged because you have changed your mind. This includes fully bespoke wigs and changes to an existing design that are not offered as standard options, such as custom colours, alterations to the style or length, or the addition or removal of embellishments.
If you wish to cancel an order before work has begun, please contact mane.eventwigs@gmail.com as soon as possible. If work or sourcing for a bespoke order has already begun, please contact me to discuss your order and any costs already incurred.
Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Orders
If your wig arrives damaged, faulty or is not what you ordered, please contact mane.eventwigs@gmail.com as soon as possible after delivery.
Please include your order number, a description of the problem and clear photographs showing the wig and packaging as received.
Where appropriate, I will arrange a repair, replacement or refund in accordance with your statutory rights. As most Mane Event Wigs are handmade to order, please be aware that creating a replacement may take approximately 2–3 weeks.
Condition of Returns
Where a return is accepted, please keep the wig unworn, unused, unaltered and, where possible, in its original packaging until we have discussed the issue.
Please do not cut the lace, restyle, apply products to or otherwise alter a wig that you intend to return.
Handmade Pieces
Every Mane Event wig is individually hand-styled. Small variations in curl placement, styling, embellishment placement and other handmade details are therefore normal and are part of the individual character of each piece.
Colours may also appear slightly different depending on lighting, photography and your screen settings. Where possible, product listings include photographs in different lighting conditions to give an accurate representation of the colour.
Wig Care & Wear
A care guide is supplied with your wig. The lifespan and appearance of a styled wig depend considerably on how it is worn, handled, stored and maintained.
Normal wear and tear, or damage caused by improper handling, storage, alteration, styling or failure to follow the supplied care instructions, is not considered a manufacturing fault.
Nothing in this policy limits your statutory rights regarding goods that are faulty, not as described or otherwise do not meet the requirements of applicable consumer law.

Please only submit images and information that you are comfortable sharing for this purpose.
Mailing List
You can choose to join the Mane Event Wigs mailing list through the website or where this option is presented during checkout.
Marketing emails may include information about new wigs, collections, restocks, offers and other Mane Event Wigs news.
You can unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time using the unsubscribe option provided in marketing emails.
Unsubscribing from marketing will not prevent me from sending necessary communications about an order you have placed.

These Terms apply to purchases made from Mane Event Wigs, a UK-based business operated by a self-employed sole trader. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.
Handmade & Made-to-Order Wigs
Mane Event Wigs specialises in individually hand-styled wigs. Most wigs are made to order unless the original photographed wig, or another finished piece, is available.
Because each wig is styled by hand, minor variations between the product photographs and the wig you receive are normal. Curl placement, shape, embellishments and other handmade details may vary slightly.
Colours can also appear differently depending on photography, lighting and screen settings.
Processing & Delivery
Most orders take approximately 2–3 weeks from ordering to receiving your wig within the UK.
This is an estimate rather than a guaranteed delivery date unless a specific date has been expressly agreed with you.
If you need a wig for an event taking place within the next 2–3 weeks, please contact mane.eventwigs@gmail.com before ordering. I can then check whether a suitable wig is already available or whether your chosen design can reasonably be completed in time.
Custom & Personalised Wigs
Custom work may include:
A completely bespoke wig design
A colour that is not offered as a standard option for that design
Changes to the standard length or styling
Adding or removing rhinestones, accessories or other design elements
Custom enquiries will be discussed before an order is placed. Once the details have been agreed, you will receive a quote and the opportunity to place and pay for the order.
Custom and personalised wigs cannot normally be returned simply because you change your mind.
If you wish to cancel a bespoke order, please contact me as soon as possible. Where work or sourcing has already begun, any refund will take into account work completed and reasonable costs already incurred, subject always to your statutory rights.
Wig Care
Each wig is supplied with appropriate care information. Please follow these instructions carefully.
The longevity of a styled wig depends on how frequently it is worn and how it is handled, transported, stored and maintained.
Mane Event Wigs is not responsible for normal wear and tear or damage caused after delivery by improper care, storage, alteration, restyling or use contrary to the supplied care instructions. This does not affect your rights if the product was faulty when supplied.
Shipping
Mane Event Wigs currently ships within the United Kingdom only.
Orders are normally sent using Evri tracked delivery. Tracking information will be provided where available.
Please ensure that the delivery address entered when ordering is complete and correct. If you notice an error, contact mane.eventwigs@gmail.com immediately.
If a parcel appears to have been lost or significantly delayed, please contact me so that I can investigate the shipment with the courier. Appropriate next steps, which may include replacement or refund where applicable, will be arranged once the circumstances have been established.
Product Availability
Because wigs are handmade and materials may occasionally become unavailable, there may be rare circumstances in which I am unable to fulfil an order exactly as requested.
If this happens, I will contact you to discuss suitable alternatives. I will not make a material change to your chosen design without your agreement.
